O Gauge Live Steam Enterprise from Bassett Lowke. Finished in LMS Crimson Lake. Believed to be mid 1930's.
Loco is all there (bar the whistle), functional, andeverything rotates as it should. Burner wicks could probably do with replacing, but there's no reason it couldn't be returned to steam with a little light refurbishment. It stands as a very handsome display loco, with only minor paint blackening and paint loss. Original instruction sheet included!
Any new owner must inspect themselves that the safety valve and pipework is to their own satisfaction before actually steaming it. It comes with no guarantee and is sold as a nearly 100 year old antique toy curiosity. Meths burners and Boiling water, under pressure are potentially dangerous and should be treated with respect!
