No box, just the polystyrene inner tray, but the set itself is in lovely condition, loco has been run, but remains excellent, as do the coach and breakdown crane. Crane appears never to have left the packaging.
Everything runs as it should and with the addition of sprung buffers, the N2 tank is a very handsome model. Looks fantastic as a full train.
